
SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH
Makes 12-18 cookies
depending on size.

1 cup of UNsalted butter (2 sticks close to room temp)
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon of vanilla
3 cups of flour
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In mixer, mix together butter and sugar very well, until creamy. Add in eggs and flavoring, Mix for a short time just until incorporated (DO NOT overmix.) Add flour to butter on low speed until combined and not sticking to the side of the bowl. Roll out your dough and cover with saran wrap to chill in the fridge. After a couple hours you can cut your dough. After cutting your dough place on a cookie sheet and in the freezer for 1o minutes and then directly into the oven. Bake for 10-13 minutes.
Tip: You do not want your cookies to brown on bottom, only cook them until they don't look wet on top.
